Join Onondaga community members, Tsha’ Thoñ’nhes management and staff, We of Italian and Syracuse Heritage in CNY and Neighbors of the Onondaga Nation / Syracuse Peace Council for this year’s Indigenous Peoples’ Day Festival on unceded Onondaga Nation land.
Meals and sides: poutine, cheeseburgers, chicken patty sandwiches, Hoffmann hotdogs, fries, birria taco dinners, chili, corn soup, hot scoons, scoon dogs, beef sundaes on fry bread, indian tacos, BBQ chicken dinners, roasted corn-on-the-cob, tamales (including vegetarian options), walking tacos
Desserts: strawberry shortcake, chocolate chip cookies, other baked goods
Cold and hot drinks: strawberry drink, sassafras tea, soda, lemonade, orange-ade, henda-ade, strawberry lemonade, atole de elote, champurrado, cider, water
Crafts including beadwork, art prints, pottery, home decorations, clothing, gifts, toys, ornaments, hand-carved/burned wood items, corn husk dolls, baskets, jewelry and much more will be available to purchase from more than 20 Haudenosaunee artists and crafters.
